Chickens Should Be White And Cute, Right? Well, The Barter White Is Just That!
The Barter White is one of our signature breeds that originates from a pure Rhode Island White Hen and a pure White Leghorn Rooster cross that is now bred true. This breed is not as large as the pure breds. They are all white in colour and have a sleek look - simply stunning to look at! They can be a bit aloof and seem conspicuously uninvolved and uninterested in what you may be doing, but those of us that love them know they are just shy!
The Barter White hen is lighter in body weight and will eat less, making her efficient and economical in egg production.
