The best food, the best eggs!
This Chicken Layer/Breeder Mix has been formulated as a budget layer pellet to suit all breeds of layers from point of lay (18 - 20 weeks of age). As a result of a high analysis, this Chicken Layer/Breeder Mix is well suited for those wishing quality
egg production & chicken health. Feeding hens to production is important to maximise bird health, egg production and yolk colour.
Features:
- Proteins - No urea, all protein in the form of true proteins sources
- High Energy / Analysis - For superior egg production and bird health
- Trace Mineral Premix - To assist in maintaining nutritional balance and layer health
- Short Cut Pellet - easier acceptance and intake by layers
How much feed do I need?
If your hens are at point of lay or over 17 weeks old, you would buy a large bag of layer. Chickens will be on this for all time, so you will use it all. Before changing feed you would introduce differing brands slowly by mixing it in, and the chickens would get used to it. When you change feed overnight you set back your chickens immediately in maturity and if laying, their laying consistency immediately.
Bag Size: 20 Kg
